U4GM Black Ops 7 Guide: Where to Beat Mega Abomination

#1
Operation Broken Mirror isn't the kind of Season 03 Reloaded mission you can sleepwalk through. The Mega Abomination punishes messy squads fast, and you'll notice it within the first minute if everyone brought their usual multiplayer class. Some players use Black Ops 7 Bot Lobbies to get comfortable with weapons or movement before stepping into harder content, but the real fight still comes down to discipline. You need people doing jobs, not four players chasing damage numbers while the arena falls apart around them.
Build the squad before you start shooting
A good run usually begins with one player taking the ugly job. That's your Tank or Breacher. They stay close enough to pull attention, use Juggernaut when things get rough, and drop Thermal Spike when the boss commits to an attack. It's not glamorous, but it keeps the rest of the team alive. Then you want a Pyro who actually watches the floor, not just the boss's health bar. Adds pile in quickly, and Conductive Shot matters because the Abomination's armor recovery can drag the fight out forever. Support should never be treated as optional either. Healing Aura, Wingman Drone, and fast revives can save a run that looks dead.
Bring weapons that keep working
This fight isn't about flashy one-burst kills. You want guns that keep pressure on weak points without running dry every few seconds. The XMG is a safe pick if you can manage your reloads. A quick shotgun also works well when someone is brave enough to play close, though it's risky once the arena gets crowded. Incendiary rounds are great for softening armor, while Shrapnel rounds help punish exposed joints. Don't forget the boring stuff either. Stim Shots win fights. Thermite and Semtex are worth holding for broken armor sections or when the boss pauses after a charge.
Read the phases, not just the health bar
During the opening stretch, slow down a bit. Everyone loves to unload at the centre mass, but that's how you waste ammo. Aim at the glowing joints, cracked plates, and any exposed carapace. When armor breaks, the fight changes. Elite enemies start showing up, and this is where decent teams often make the same mistake. They keep tunnelling the boss. Don't. Clear the room first. Stun groups, burn choke points, and let the Tank drag the Abomination away if the team needs space. A clean Phase 2 feels dull for ten seconds, then it saves the whole run.
Stay loose when the arena turns nasty
At low health, the Mega Abomination stops feeling like a boss and starts feeling like a runaway truck. It charges, leaves corruption trails, and forces everyone to move whether they're ready or not. Standing still to line up the perfect shot is usually how you get flattened. Slide through gaps, call out revives early, and dump your remaining lethals when the weak points open. If you've tested routes or gear through a BO7 Bot Lobby for sale setup, use that practice here, but don't get cocky. Once it drops, the Exotic Weapon Case, Pulsebreach, Reboot sidearm, Aftershock skin, and Lethal Injection blueprint feel properly earned.
